More Valentine Rockin Bobbie Pin Fun

We have had so much fun with the Rockin Bobbie Pins.

I started by rolling her bangs back towards the side of her head and securing with a bobbie pin.

Next I pulled all of her hair into a high ponytail.

Then I made ringlets with my curling iron.

Then I used the bobbie pins to pull the ringlets up next to her head.

Below are several pictures taken of how I put the bobbie pins into her hair.

Ringlet Curling Iron

This is my ringlet curling iron. It is a conair and the ringlets last all day with this curling iron.

Valentine Fun with Rockin Bobbie Pins

A very fun and simple hairstyle.
I first made the Rockin Bobbie Pins.
I made these perfect with Valentine colors.
I then made ringlets all over her head. I have a special curling iron that has grooves in it the hair fits perfectly in to make the best ringlets that last all day.

Then I took her bangs and rolled them to the side and secured with one of the bobbie pins.

I took several small strands of hair and pulled them towards the back of her head and secured them with the fun new bobbie pins.
(Below) is the right side of her head.

Below is the left side of her head.

This is the back of her hair.

Make it or Break it Lauren's Latest Style

Lauren's Hairstyles are so cute and so much fun to recreate. So here goes another one.

Because my daughter has a lot of hair but it is thin I made a part the same as if I was going to pull the sides up. I am going to start the braid on her left side so I left a small amount of hair on the right side and pulled it into a ponytail so it won't be braided with the rest.

To start this braid pull the hair up and start braiding at the corner of her eye. (This hairstyle is difficult to do on yourself so find someone that could help you with the braid.
The french braid needs to start out tight but after you have it started then make a loose braid across the top. Stop the braid on the opposite side about to the end of the right eye. I used an elastic to secure the french braid.

Take the remaining hair on the side of her head and pull it up towards were your ponytail will be. This hair is going to cover the end of the braid. When I had the back complete I took a comb and made the front with a little bit more poof pulling and loosening some of the hair.

If you need help or better clarification on this style please ask.

Toddler Valentine Hair

As all of you with Toddler's know it is difficult to get pictures.

To start I made a far lateral part and made a small ponytail. Then I continued on across the front of her head towards her ear. There were 4 small ponytails (or puffybraids)

Once the ponytails are in place. I had made some Rockin Bobbie pins taken from my favorite Website for moms http://www.mom-stuff.com/ . These bobbie pins were so easy and fun to make that I recommend everyone trying them.
To finish up slide the Valentine bobbie pins through her ponytail.

Question #2

This question was sent to me yesterday.
On "make it or break it tonight Lauren had this great french braid that went across the top up her head and into a high ponytail. If you know what I'm talking about I'd love some tips. I've been attempting it for about half an hour now. "

It is so funny I got this question at the same time I was considering doing this hairstyle. My daughter loves the show and love Lauren's hairstyles. So as for tips I will get this hairstyle posted within the next couple of days. Then I can give you some tips and ideas on my interpretation of how it was done.

I also just wanted to say that most of the hairstyles done on my older daughter I do on myself as well. I love have different hairstyles too. So hopefully by telling you guys this you can try them on yourselves too.

Thanks for all the questions.

Question #1

On my hairstyle Updo I had someone send me a message.
How did you secure the rolls in to place?

Depending on your daughters hair you can use 2 ways. On this particular style I used elastics but my daughter has pretty thick hair so small bobbie pins work too. If you need more help just ask.
