Easy Crimps without heat

This is a really easy way to make crimps without using a heat.
When she gets out of the bath/shower at night take small sections of hair and make simple braids all over (make the same size braid for even crimps)
In the morning make sure they are all dry and then pull the braids out and below is the crimped result.
We use this method all the time/

Day Five of my "diet"

So today I cheated!! (Sad Face) I met my good friend and fellow youtube/blogger Sarah for dinner.
We went to Gino's which is our usually place to go for food. I love it. Lunch special for €10 include small pizza, a drink and wait for it...ICE CREAM!

Diet -

Breakfast
Kellogg's Special K Cereal and Alpro Soya milk (unsweetened) with Apply juice.

I am thinking I will start to add fruit to it, just cause I don't want to get bored of it.

Lunch
Fresh home made brown bread (vegan "butter" spread) and tomato soup

Whenever I have soup I always want some thing sweet, and the chocolates were just calling to me, but I said no! :)

Dinner

Small pizza with peppers and sweetcorn and a glass of coke

I only had three slices of the pizza, I guess I am getting used to just having some amount. Usually I would have had the whole thing no problem!
I didn't have to get coke I know but I really miss coke, I was never a huge fan but now I can't stay away from it so it was a treat!

Dessert
Chocolate chip vanilla (I only had a bit, I don't like dairy ice cream)

I have to admit vegan ice cream is much nicer. I find real ice cream really heavy, like vegan ice cream is smooth and creamy. I dunno how they do it but I love vegan ice cream.

I didn't exercise but I did walk to town to meet Sarah and we did walk around the town to do some shopping so it all counts.

I will be going vegan shopping at the weekend I will update you about what I got.

Hope you are all well, and hope your diet it going well too. Please let me know how you are getting on.

Love Sinead.

Tip of the week:
A craving usually only lasts about 20mins, try distracting yourself by taking a walk or brushing your teeth! (the mintyness make you forgot food)

Fourth Day - Temptation

So today it was a hard day! I really wanted some chocolate!!
My boyfriend was eating some left over chocolates from Christmas and I was like Ah!! Sad face!

Diet -

Breakfast
Kellogg's Special K Cereal and Alpro Soya milk (unsweetened)

What I really wanted was coco pop but I told myself no, because I would have to admit it on my blog so that's a good thing.
The Original Special K Cereal, has 11 essential vitamins and minerals and I find it keeps me fuller for longer.

Lunch
Fresh home made brown bread and vegan "butter" spread.

I love this brown bread that my boyfriend's mum makes!

Dinner
Tuna pasta bake

Just made some pasta, add some pasta sauce, mixed in a can of tuna and bake.
(I would usually had cheese but this time I left it out)

What I did:

Light house work, walked to town to do my shopping, took the stair when I could.

(If you have to drive to town, park at the other end of the car park so you still have to walk to the shop and back with your shopping bag)

It still counts as a work out, and doing a bit everyday it better then nothing!

Tip of the day:
Take your time, enjoy your food and you will eat less!

If you want some thing sweet, check out my vegan brownies!

Third Day of Goodness!

Third day!

So today I was very good! Yay! I am sure I will have a bad days too but I am happy today was a good day!

Diet -

Breakfast
Weetos and Alpro Soya milk (unsweetened)

So I know they are chocolatey but if you are going have some "bad" best to have it in the morning so you can burn it off. Plus Weetos still keep you full till lunch!

Lunch
Large bowl of Home made vegetable soup!

My mum made soup it took like 10 mins and it was so yummy!!
I will do a video about it!
I was gonna have bread with it but it was necessary it tasted too good!

Dinner
Fresh home made brown bread and vegan "butter" spread.

I was pretty full after my soup so I just had some brown bread that my boyfriend's mum made. Its the best ever!

What I did:

  • I didn't sleep very well, the weather was terrible and I was up till 3.30am editing videos, I only went to sleep because the electric when out so I had to give up and then I had to get up early to upload them. I only got about 6 hours which was bad.

As I said before we need to sleep 7 hours per night to be healthy!

So boo to the "hope to get into a good routine" but I will start tonight!

  • Had my breakfast with a glass of apple juice! Yummy!!

  • I had work to do, emails to answer and youtube stuff but I told myself I had to find time to do a work out so I did a short one.

I did about 25-30min
Warm up for about 5 min
Some Fast Paced Cardio Workout
and good old Belly Dancing
Cool Down

  • I took a shower, used a heat protect shampoo and conditioner on my hair and let it dry naturally again. Only because I was in a rush to met my boyfriend!

  • Had my brown bread and apple juice. (Could do for some more actually but its bed time!ha)

Tip of the day:

Eat like a King for breakfast, a Prince for lunch and a Beggar for dinner!

Apparently this is what Kim K does!! :)

Love Miss Cady! x

Second Day!

The second day of my "diet" I didn't do too good today, I was so busy I didn't really have time to make sure I was eating right but I tried!

Diet -

Breakfast
Weetabix and Alpro Soya milk (unsweetened)

I add a pinch of sugar I know tut tut! Kept me full though for ages though.

Lunch
Tuna and salad with a bit of mayo. I used Mayo instead of butter.
Had it on Half and Half bread it tastes good but isn't as bad as white bread. Glass of Apple Juice.

Tuna obviously isn't vegan I do have fish sometimes. A good Vegan
alternative is tuno or quorn tuna cutlets.

I also had spiced tufu with mayo once is was great on toast!

Dinner

Left over tuna with a peppery rocket, spinach and watercress salad.

I didn't plan my meals very well, as you can see. I was pretty hungry so I did have a bowl of cereal late in the evening.

Tomorrow is another day of busyness but I hope to stock up on some food so I can plan out my meals!

I hope to find some time to work out early in the morning!

Tip of the day:

Don't worry if you slip up once in awhile tomorrow is another day!

Detox - Day one

So it is the first day of my "Detox". Christmas is over and it's a New Year!
I wanted to start as I mean to go on so here is everything I did and ate today!

Diet -

Breakfast
Kellogg's Special K Cereal and Alpro Soya milk (unsweetened)

The Original Special K Cereal, has 11 essential vitamins and minerals and I find it keeps me fuller for longer.

Lunch
I wasn't hungry at all, so I didn't have lunch which I know its bad but I think if you aren't hungry don't force yourself to eat!

Dinner

Vegan lasagna with a peppery rocket, spinach and watercress salad.

I made vegan lasagne for my family yesterday and there was bit left over so I had it with some salad.
I am not a huge fan of salads but rocket, spinach and watercress isn't too bad and its packed with vitamin A which is good for the skin and eyes. As well as iron which vegans need.

If you really hate salad try just adding a bit to every mouth full of food and you will still get the vitamins with out the taste. (or lack of)

What I did:

I Slept in :)
Yep! You might think you need to get up early otherwise you are just being lazy but sleep is very important.

Research shows that women who sleep 5 hours or less per night generally weigh more than women who sleep 7 hours per night.

I do hope to get into a good routine of going to bed and wake up at the same time each day.

Had my breakfast with a glass of orange juice! Yummy!!

I had work to do, emails to answer and work to do on youtube so my afternoon was full with that.

I always dance to "I'm a slave"
Then I did my first work out of the year! Yay! I actually LOVE working out!

I did about 45-60mins
Warm up for about 5 mins
Light stretching
Some Fast Paced Cardio Workout
Belly Dancing
Light Upper Body Muscle Workout
Cool Down

I kept hydrated with a glass of lemon and water.

I took a shower and exfoliated really well getting rid of all the old skin of last year (sounds funny)
Then after my shower I massage body oil deep into the skin to help keep it smooth and soft.

I also used a heat protect shampoo and conditioner on my hair and let it dry naturally. :)

Had my yummy vegan dinner and a glass of lemon and water.

I might have some fruit soon, because I don't like going to bed hungry.

Speaking of bed try not to eat within two hours of going to bed as it's just empty calories that you don't need.

Tip of the day:

Never put off until tomorrow what you can do today!!
