Frenchbraid Headband

Simple fun and turned out really cute.  The pictures just don't show how cute this style turned out.

I made a far lateral part and started the frenchbraid on her left side and braided back a little ways to make the braid look like a headband that had been pushed back to the ear line.
Braid down a little ways and secure with an elastic.

Do the same to the other side.  The hardest part is making sure the braid line up on the top of her head.
Once the braids are done pull them tight and secure with an elastic at the base of her head under all her other hair.
Below is a top view of the braids.

French Braid Headband to Ponytail

This is simple and cute taken from a spin off of Lauren's Hair from Make it or break it.  I made a french braid across the entire front of her head and secured it with an elastic.
Then I pulled it all into a high ponytail.

Updo Braids and Twists

First make a braid as shown below.
Then take the hair above her ear and make a braid.
Below shows the 2 braids and how they should look.
On the left side leave a small amount of hair above the ear.  Pull the remaining hair all but a small strip of hair along the bottom of her head into a ponytail.
The hair on the left side make a twist.
Pull the top braid and the twist from the left side and secure it and the hair at the bottom into an elastic.
Then pull that hair up into a ponytail. Then take the remaining braid and pull it and wrap it around the ponytail.
Make a messy bun or leave the hair into a ponytail.

Question #4

I have had a couple of people ask questions about how to french braid.  So keep an eye on my blog I will be posting a video shortly on how to french braid.

Question #3

Question: How do you get her to sit still while you curl her hair? (This was a question about my toddler)

Answer:  I always do her hair in front of the TV with her favorite cartoons on, and I also put some of her favorite toys in front of her.  This way I have at least 2 distractions for her this gives me about 10 minutes of time with her hair.  As far as curling I make sure that all of my supplies are all ready before I get her in the room.  Then my goal with her is not perfection but curls everywhere.  I make sure I never put the curling iron close to her head because toddlers move a lot.

I hope this helps if you have more questions please ask.

Toddler Poof

This is nothing to extreme but it turned out cute if you have daughters hair like mine.  I blowed dried it first and then took a small curling iron and put some curls in it.  I just pulled up a little poof in the front.  The last thing I did was back combed under her ponytail to give her crown a little volume.

Ribbon, Bun, Hair Fun

Take the front part of her hair and swoop it across to the side of her head just above the ear.
Secure it with an elastic.
Make random parts around her head and put the center hair into a ponytail.
Below is the left side of the random parts.
Then I took the hair I left down and pulled it up around the ponytail in different directions.
Below is the hair just above her ear I pulled it under the ponytail.
Below is the left side of her head pulling the hair back to the ponytail.
Last I pulled the hair from the elastic across the front of the ponytail.
To finish it off I weaved a pink ribbon in and out of the hair around her bun and tied it in a bow in the front.
